ClickBank and Digistore24 are real, established online retailers: ClickBank has been running since 1998 and Digistore24 since 2012. When you order many of the supplements promoted through affiliate sites, one of them runs the checkout, charges your card and processes refunds. Their involvement says nothing about whether a product works. What protects your money is the brand's guarantee, its return conditions, and asking for the refund in time.
What ClickBank is
ClickBank calls itself an e-commerce platform with a large affiliate marketplace, and it states plainly that it is the retailer of the products sold through it. It launched on April 3, 1998, and it is a service of Click Sales Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Boise, Idaho, according to its legal notice. ClickBank also describes itself as the "merchant of record" for purchases on its platform, which is why its name, not the brand's, appears on your statement.
So is ClickBank legit? As a company, it is legitimate in the sense that matters for your card: an identifiable business that takes the payment and runs the refund system. Its customer-service site says it upholds a satisfaction guarantee on every transaction it processes. What ClickBank's name can't tell you is whether the product in the box does what its sales page claims.
What Digistore24 is
Digistore24 describes itself as a full-service online sales platform with one of the world's largest international affiliate marketplaces, selling digital products, health supplements and more. It began in Germany in 2012 (Digistore24) and says it has operated in the U.S. for more than five years. It works on a reseller model: when you order through its checkout, you are buying from Digistore24, not directly from the brand, and Digistore24 handles the invoice, the payment and customer service. It also says every product goes through an approval process before it can be sold there.
After a Digistore24 order, a confirmation email arrives from Digistore24 support (support@digistore24.com) with the subject line "Digistore24 - Order successful / access." It contains your order ID, a short code of letters and numbers you'll need for any refund (Digistore24 help center).
Of the 15 brands we review, nine check out through ClickBank and six through Digistore24; one of those six also sells a ClickBank version from a second site. Both platforms pay commissions to affiliates, and review sites, including this one, can earn a commission when a reader buys through them.
Found a charge you don't recognize?
- A CLKBANK* charge. ClickBank says this means you or a family member bought from an online merchant that uses ClickBank to process orders. Use Find My Order at clkbank.com with the email used for the purchase plus the order number, the last four digits of the card, or the card's ZIP code.
- A Digistore24 charge. Search your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email. No email? Digistore24's help center explains how to find the order through its customer portal, which signs you in with a one-time code sent to your email, or through a card lookup that asks for your name, the purchase date, the amount and the card's last four digits.
How refunds work on ClickBank
ClickBank's return policy says it will, at its discretion, allow a return or replacement of any product within 60 days of the purchase date, and that some sellers may offer return windows beyond 60 days. Refunds go back to the payment method or account used for the purchase.
Requesting one takes a few minutes (ClickBank support):
- Go to clkbank.com and look up the order.
- Select it and choose Request a Refund.
- Pick a reason, or choose Other and explain, then send the ticket.
There is a catch for long guarantees. ClickBank's help page says most products have a 60-day refund period, and once a product's window closes, the refund option disappears and you have to contact the seller directly. Several brands below promise 90 or 180 days, so past day 60, email the brand's support team with your order number and keep the reply. The brand's own return instructions still apply as well: most want the bottles shipped back to a returns address, which the online request doesn't handle for you.
ClickBank's customer service lines are (800) 390-6035 in the U.S. and +1 (208) 345-4245 from abroad.
How refunds work on Digistore24
Digistore24's buyer guide to returns lists two conditions: you bought as a private individual rather than as a company, and you're still within the return period. Then:
- Open the "Cancel or revoke contract" page on Digistore24's site and enter your order ID plus your last name or email, or follow the help link in your confirmation email to "Question about the payment."
- For shipped products such as supplements, download the delivery note, print it, put it in the parcel and send it to the address the system shows.
- Use the "Still need help? Contact us" link to tell Digistore24 you've sent the product back, with your tracking number.
Refunds usually arrive within 10 working days, to the account you paid with. You can also reach the help desk at helpdesk@digistore24.com with your order ID and purchase email, or by phone at 800-745-7496.
Timing works differently than many buyers expect. Digistore24's help center for sellers says the return period starts at the first payment, that sellers choose its length (60, 90 or 180 days for sales through Digistore24 Inc., its U.S. company), and that no refund is possible more than 180 days after purchase. Five of the Digistore24 brands below count their guarantee from delivery. If you count from the day the box arrived, you're counting from a later date than the checkout system does, so don't leave the request for the final week.
Money-back terms for the 15 brands we review
Here is each official site's guarantee as we recorded it on September 30, 2026. The retailer column shows the checkout each official site sends you to. Terms change, so reread the refund page before you order.
| Brand (our review) | Retailer | Guarantee | Clock starts | Key conditions |

| Gluco6 | ClickBank | 60 days | Not stated | Return the bottles, even empty; you pay return shipping |
| HepatoBurn | ClickBank | 60 days | Purchase | Return bottles, even empty, undamaged; you pay return shipping; original shipping not refunded |

| Nitric Boost (Ultra) | Digistore24 (ClickBank on a second site) | 60 days | Not stated | Sales page says "no questions asked," even if used; refund page confirms 60 days and that you pay return shipping; a stricter unopened-only line exists only in hidden page code, so get written confirmation from support before opening a jar |

| ProDentim | Digistore24 | 60 days | Delivery (same page also says order date) | Return all bottles, empty or not, with the packing slip; you pay return shipping |

Reading the fine print
Four patterns show up across these 15 pages:
- The clock starts at different moments. Five brands count from purchase or order date, one from shipment, five from delivery, and four don't say. Both platforms count from the purchase or payment date, so take the earliest date as your deadline.
- Empty bottles usually still go back. Most brands want every bottle returned, even empty ones, and none pays for return shipping. HepatoBurn, Java Burn and Liv Pure also keep the original shipping and handling. Hold on to the box and the packing slip.
- Some pages contradict themselves. ProDentim's refund page gives two different start dates, and Mitolyn's refund page and FAQ disagree about returning bottles. Save a copy of the terms you relied on when you ordered.
- Long guarantees need a direct line to the brand. LeanBiome, Nagano Tonic and ProstaVive promise 180 days, and Mitolyn promises 90. Past ClickBank's usual 60-day self-service window, expect to deal with the brand's support team by email.
Marketplace look-alikes: where the guarantee stops
When we reviewed search results for these 15 brands, several marketplace listings didn't match the official products. The patterns: similar names with a letter or word changed, sold under a different brand; a different format, such as listings for ProDentim and PrimeBiome capsules when the official ProDentim is a soft tablet and the official PrimeBiome is a gummy; and multi-packs priced far below the official site. We're not calling any specific listing fake. The point is narrower: a listing whose name, format or company differs from the official product isn't the product the official guarantee describes.
The guarantees in the table are published by each brand's official site and run through its ClickBank or Digistore24 checkout. ClickBank's order lookup and Digistore24's order IDs only cover orders placed through those checkouts, so an order from a marketplace seller falls under that seller's own return policy.
Before you buy anywhere else, check the seller:
- Compare the format and daily serving with the official product; each of our reviews lists them.
- Read the brand name and distributor printed on the label in the listing photos.
- See who actually sells and ships the item on the marketplace page, and read that seller's return policy.
- Ask why before paying a price far below the official site's.
When a refund doesn't show up
- Contact the platform with your order number: ClickBank through clkbank.com or by phone, Digistore24 by email or phone.
- Keep copies of the confirmation email, your return tracking number and the guarantee terms.
- If you paid by credit card and the problem isn't resolved, the FTC explains how to dispute a charge with your card issuer. Items you didn't accept, or that weren't delivered as agreed, can count as billing errors, and your letter must reach the issuer within 60 days after the first bill with the error was sent.
Set the deadline the day you order
For what the badges on these same sales pages mean, see why supplements aren't FDA-approved. For the two oral-care products in the table, our dental probiotics guide covers the evidence, and every review is also grouped by category, from weight management to hearing support.
The simplest protection costs nothing. On the day you order, take the earlier of your payment date and your delivery date, add the guarantee period, subtract a couple of weeks for return shipping, and put that date in your calendar. That one note will do more for you than any badge on the sales page.
